Ghost Rider Review


The wife and I went to see Ghost Rider today. I enjoyed the movie, despite being distracted by the thought that it might be a while before we see movies in the theater regularly after the baby comes.
The effects were good, and it was well cast. Eva Mendes makes any movie easier to enjoy. I am kept calling Wes Bentley, who plays Blackheart, evil Jeff Gordon, because he looked just like the Nascar driver.












Whenever the dialogue got too cheesy (yes I'm talking to you, Peter Fonda!), I just rminded myself to look at the film as a comic book come to life. Then I'd begin to appreciate the visuals and the flow of action again. I give this film a grade of:
